The 13th Annual North American Conference for Critical Animal Studies was a great success. There were more than two-hundred attendees with almost one hundred presenters. The facilities were amazing at Rice University. ICAS would like to thank the Center for Critical and Cultural Theory for sponsoring the conference and Drew Winter, Larry Butz, and Joe Leeson-Schatz for co-organizing the conference. There were more than twenty states represented, fifteen countries, and six continents. ICAS again successfully provides one of the most international and intersectional conferences within the animal advocacy movement in the world.
