Welcome to the Critical Animal Studies Society a program of the Institute for Critical Animal Studies, founded in 2019 to praise scholar-activists through awards and to give attention to those exploiting animals in animal abusive industries and conducting non-critical animal reformist research and scholarship.

Four Programs:

Submit nominations for all the awards below between December 1 to December 31 of each year, with announcements in January. 

1. Annual Scholars (Peer-reviewed annual titles for graduate and undergraduate students)
2. Annual Fellows (Peer-reviewed annual titles for public intellectuals and scholars/professors with terminal degrees)
3. Annual Outstanding Awards (six peer-reviewed annual awards)
4. Annual Tilikum Awards (six peer-reviewed annual awards)
