TOP FIVE MISTAKES ABOUT CRITICAL ANIMAL STUDIES

  1. Critical Animal Studies is only for academics

  2. Critical Animal Studies is not rooted in anarchism, it is, as the founders stressed that in the beginning and defined it as such.

  3. Critical Animal Studies is not rooted in intersectionality, it is, as the founders stressed that in the beginning.

  4. Critical Animal Studies does not support the Animal and Earth Liberation Fronts, it does, and has always, as it emerged to fight against repression such as the AETA.

  5. Critical Animal Studies does not do activism, doh! we are activists and those that do critical animal studies, that are not activists and do not go to protests or rallies or hit the streets, are not doing critical animal studies.

As Hip Hop states, check yourself before you wreck yourself.
