Call for Nominations for the 2026 Annual ICAS Tilikum Awards

Hello Friends of the Institute for Critical Animal Studies,

Please think critically and globally and nominate a corporation, person, group, agency, or government for these awards.

Annual Tilikum Awards praised the rage Tilikum had against oppressors and systems of domination. These awards are given at the end of the year to those outside of social justice movements promoting global systemic domination, oppression, and exploitation.ANNUAL TILIKUM AWARDS

  1. WORST SCHOLARSHIP OF THE YEAR
  2. WORST BOOK OF THE YEAR
  3. WORST ECOLOGICAL/ANIMAL DESTRUCTIVE ACT OF THE YEAR
  4. WORST ORGANIZATION/CORPORATION OF THE YEAR
  5. WORST FILM OF THE YEAR
  6. WORST FORUM OF THE YEAR

SUBMIT
Submit nominations from December 1 to December 31 of each year, with announcements in January.

Annual Tilikum Awards founded in 2013, these awards are decided by the Board of Directors of the Institute for Critical Animal Studies and facilitated by the Director of the Critical Animal Studies Society.

The renewable Annual Scholars position (with no financial support) is a one year appointment for students.

1) a short biography third person one paragraph around 120 words;
2) four research interests;
3) your resumé/CV;
